Antique Stockwell Co 1908 Silver Swiss Fob Pocket Watch + Belcher Chain. Working

Antique silver open faced pocket watch in working order. Swiss lever movement, crown wind and pin set. White enamel dial with roman numerals and gilt hands and crown. The case heavily decorated in acanthus scrolls. Complete with a 75cm silver rolo belcher chain, although not original to the watch complement each other well.

The watch has London import hallmarks, 925, 1908, Stockwell & co (George Stockwell) and registration number 78297 to inner cover and back cover.

The chain also marked .925 several times plus additional hallmarks to clasp and first rings (see photo)

Condition: Excellent working order, off a full wind the watch ran for around 34 hours before stopping and kept excellent time, although working it has not been professionally tested or serviced, so long term accuracy can not be guaranteed.

Dial in good order, glass has some surface scratches. Very small bruise to back of watch, not really visible from the outside but can just be felt and seen on the inside.
